Thesis Title: A Taste of Tiwanaku: Daily Life in an Ancient Andean Urban Center as Seen through Cuisine

About

I am currently finishing my dissertation on daily cuisine in a non-elite neighborhood of the early urban center of Tiwanaku, in the highlands of Bolivia (ca. AD 500-1150). I specialize in the investigation of archaeological faunal remains (i.e. zooarchaeology). I am also a visiting instructor at IPFW in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
